Help with Skies of Iradiance Bundle please

So I bought the Skies of Iradiance bundle a couple weeks ago, 23541, 23542, 23544. And I'd like to know how to use it.

No matter what I try, the skies look washed out, the lighting is just ugly. I've wasted hours on this.

What is the secret to getting good results with this set?
