No .dae file created after Collada export

I am using Daz Studio 4.7 Pro on a Win7 Pro x64 system. When I export a scene to Collada file format (*.dae) a folder with a number of jpg's is created but no *.dae file. Is the exporter broken? If not, any suggestions on how to accomplish this?
