morph loader distortion

I exported the obj hip from the gen character. Made morph of the hip in hex. Used morph loader to install the morph on the character and when I dialed the morph it distorted the hip down to the knee of the gen character. The morph was there but location was distorted. Any ideas on my error?

You can't work on isolated parts of the mesh - but as long as you don't change an area the morph won't affect it. You don't say what kind of distortion you are getting, but one thing to check is that you were working from the unmorphed and unposed base figure.
I see.... I was working from an object of the portion of the mesh after the morphs selected. I had exported the hip and when it was loaded in through morph loader pro the dial worked on the item but placed it about the knees stretching legs and waist down to it...
It has been a long time since I have worked with the morphs and emotiguy was easier to work with, I could morph it and export the portion back then. so I need to save the changes into a loadable format then work the base gen figure?
You also need to make sure that you are using the same preset when exporting the OBJ and when importing the morph, otherwise the scales won't be right.
I remembered that one but was used to exporting the object since hex is on another machine. That part I got right but I had exported the hip as an obj then made changes but the obj was the already adjusted one. From what you have told me I need to make the morph for the base figure before the settings.
Try checking Reverse Deformations in Morph Loader, with the figure still in the same state.
